- VIN: WDB1240361C234...
- Mileage: 106,000 km
This Mercedes W124 E500, produced in March 1995, is one of the last units of this iconic model, with only 120 units manufactured during the final year of production. Delivered new in Hanover, it was then exported to Japan, where it was meticulously maintained for about ten years, with a complete maintenance history available. It returned to Europe via the Netherlands and was purchased by an English gentleman, who primarily used it for trips to his second home in France. I acquired it in 2017.

Driving and Condition:
Produced between 1990 and 1995, the Mercedes-Benz 500 E, born from the collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, is a sports sedan that embodies discreet elegance and raw performance. Under its hood, a 4973 cm³ M119 V8, borrowed from the 500 SL, delivers 322 horsepower, propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Hand-assembled in the Porsche workshops in Zuffenhausen, the 500 E is distinguished by its widened fenders, lowered suspension, and brakes borrowed from the 600 SL for total road control. With its Recaro leather seats and strictly four-seat cabin, it combines refined luxury with formidable performance. Limited to 10,479 units, with a handful produced in 1995, its final production year makes it even more rare and desirable. A true "wolf in sheep's clothing," the E500 is today a collector's treasure, celebrated for its perfect balance between power, discretion, and exclusivity.
